Turtles All The Way Down… What happened John Green? I’ll tell you what happened… Nothing. Nothing happened. This book was 286 pages of nothing. I struggled to pick it up and every time I did I could only last a few pages without being bored to death.
Now before the John Green fangirls come at me let me say this I AM A JOHN GREEN FANGIRL! I’ve been reading John Green novels for years and I’ve loved them all, but Turtles I did not love. It makes me sad to think about it because the same person who wrote The Fault In Our Stars wrote Turtles All The Way Down and it was rubbish. I know he had a lot to live up to with the success of TFIOS but no. Just no. Can you tell I didn’t like this book? Can you tell I’m sad? Because I am sad.
This book had no plot, all it was, was some sad girl who had a freaky obsession with a cut on her finger and who liked to drink hand sanitizer. The whole Billionaire gone missing story line was dumb. There was no story line. I felt like the side characters were more interesting than the main character. I cared more about Daisy’s Star Wars fan fiction than I did about Aza’s life.
Let’s just leave Turtles All The Way Down in 2017. Sorry not Sorry.
